You find a set you love, save it, and show it in the chair. She applies it beautifully, exactly as asked. Then you get home, look properly, and it is not the photo.

Nothing is badly done. Usually it is something small and structural. The length peaks in the wrong place for your eye, so the shape pulls down instead of open, and every photo of you afterwards looks a little tired. You have felt that for years without a word for it. There are words for it.

Your eye shape, tilt, spacing, lids, brows and balance are measured and read against the PSC method, the way a designer would before touching a lash.

Within 14 days of your photos being approved you receive your full analysis and the lash design built for your face, ready to hand to your own lash artist.

This is read from you, so it has to be you. Four photos, one from each angle, so the read covers your eye shape, your lid depth and your projection rather than guessing at them. Plus the lash styles you love, whatever you have saved.
- Straight on. Camera level with your eyes, head square to it, not tilted up or down.
- Eyes open, looking at the lens. Relaxed face, no squinting and no smiling hard.
- Even lighting. Daylight facing a window works. Avoid harsh shadow across one side.
- No glasses. They sit across the eye area and hide the reads the design is built from.
- Attach images of lash styles you love. Anything you have saved, screenshotted or keep going back to. Those get read as well, against your own eye, so you find out whether the look you want actually suits you.
All four are needed. Your phone is enough. If one cannot be read clearly you will be told and asked for another, and the fourteen days start once all four are approved.

What do I actually receive?
A written read of your eyes and your face, the design your features call for, and a sketch of your map. It covers your eye shape, tilt, spacing, lids and brows, your curls zone by zone, what suits you, what to avoid on your own features, and a read of the lash styles you sent.
How long does it take?
Fourteen days from the point your photos are approved. If a photo cannot be read clearly you will be told and asked for another, and the fourteen days start once the full set is approved rather than when you first send them.
What photos do I need to send?
Four: forward face, three-quarter left, three-quarter right, and side profile. Straight on, camera level with your eyes, eyes open and looking at the lens, even lighting, no glasses. Your phone is enough.
Send the lash styles you love as well, anything you have saved or keep going back to. Those get read against your own eye, so you find out whether the look you want actually suits you.
Do I have to use a particular lash artist?
No. The design is yours, and it is written for whoever applies it. Take it to the artist you already see, or to a new one in a different city. Nothing about it ties you to a salon.
Can I use it more than once?
Yes. It is designed once and kept, so you can send it to every artist you book from here on. Your eyes are not going to change, so neither does the design that suits them.
I have never had extensions. Is this still worth it?
It is arguably more useful before your first set than after your fifth, because you walk into that first appointment already knowing what suits your eyes and what to ask for, instead of choosing from a photo of someone else.
Why can I not just show my artist a photo I like?
You can, and most people do. The difficulty is that the set in the photo was designed for the face in the photo. Copied onto different eye shape, tilt and lids it behaves differently, which is why a set can be applied beautifully and still not look like the picture.
